Her first outing as a lead actor was with Alankrita Shrivastava in a short ad film for Tanishq. Her last release in a lead role is a 25 minutes silent short film 'XO' for which she was nominated for Best actress at Korean International Film Festival. 'XO' had it's international premiere at L.A.Shorts International Film Festival and it's South Asian premiere at Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival in October, 2023. She will be seen next in Vikramaditya Motwane's upcoming film, 'Control', and also starring as the female lead in Special Ops Season 2 directed by Neeraj Pandey and Shivam Nair. 
 

She has trained with Adishakti Theatre, Puducherry, Neeraj Kabi acting workshop and her most frequent acting coach is Damini Basu of Class Act.

Kamakshi Bhat is an actor based in Mumbai, India. She grew up in Faridabad and has been a theatre enthusiast from an early age. She studied Philosophy at Miranda House college and was actively involved with their Drama society. After completing her masters in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia University, she started pursuing acting professionally.
